Shanghai's first ever international electronic/dance music festival will be taking place this coming November 16th and 22nd under the guise of an alien invasion. The lineup is stacked with international heavy-hitters and suspense continues to build as we prepare to rage in solidarity with Andromeda's disenfranchised extra-terrestrial faction. Naturally we couldn't resist getting involved, so in collaboration with Storm, Arkham is hosting two after-parties (one after each day of the festival) that will immortalize this epic event. The first after-party will take place on November 16th and will feature Afrika Bambaataa who is one of the most iconic DJs in hip-hop and electronic music culture. Afrika Bambaataa sprang from the South Bronx and is the esteemed founder of Zulu Nation, a impactful collective of socially like-minded rappers, DJs, b-boys, graffiti artists, and more. He is widely regarded as the Godfather of hip-hop, the father of electro funk, and will spin a legendary show to remind us what started it all. Retro-dance-funk will ensue.
