2006年他们就开始了混合60年代中期Mod文化及60年代后期原始Punk风格的复古摇滚之旅。
他们的现场被誉为来自70年代伦敦郊外的年轻车库乐队伴随着一群红脸妞同一大堆廉价啤酒！07年成为上海地下摇滚新宠。08年在北京摩登天空音乐节惊技四座并接连在Mao Livehouse及D22举办专场表演，之后往返北京及武汉多次参加各类摇滚派对及为时尚杂志拍摄专题大片。
2009年未有征兆的消失后立即成为上海摇滚派对的传奇。
2011年他们带着一堆新歌回来了，温故知新，在2012终结之前他们仍将活跃在上海本地摇滚音景～娱乐各位本地货及本城鬼佬们～～～
Founded in 2006, the local garage rock fourpiece were one of the brightest bands in town, renowned for raucous performances and organising shows themed on monsters such as Frankenstein and Wolfman. Banana M0nkey has created a danceable punk sound that no pogoers can resist. Sounds like: Any young garage band in the suburb of London during the ‘70s, with a gaggle of flushed cheek girls and a mountain of cheap beer (quoted by cityweekend).
