在1998年夏天的悉尼诞生，从发行The Living End的一张7寸单曲伊始，经历了坐过山车般的成功体验，旗下艺人包括了The Avalanches、MSTRKRFT、New Young Pony Club、Klaxons、Wolfmother、Cut Copy、Yeah Yeah Yeahs、Tame Impala、The Presets、Ladyhawke和Chromeo，而这些亦只是冰山一角。
在这么多年的环球旅行后，Modular团队终于来到上海联手S.T.D.举行第一次中国派对，时值厂牌15周年纪念，意义非凡。6月下旬Modular在克罗地亚立撑FOR音乐节连演三天，之后便带上厂牌当前主力军Canyons、乐制作部主管Glen Goetze和其他几位DJ立赴6月29日的Arkham继续夏日的火热电子现场。
Canyons
来自悉尼的Disco二人组Canyons总保持着让人猜不透的迷雾，两位成员Ryan Grieve和Leo Thomson在成组之前生活在西澳洲，在音乐界打拼多年，而后机缘巧合搭成组合，化学效应惊人。自2009年签约Modular后以连年出击的12寸单曲进袭舞池，2011年的第一张专辑“Keep Your Dreams”中，Canyons把对80年代合成器音乐的喜好发挥得淋漓尽致，也不忘添加些许的软摇滚成色，就如主打单曲“When I See You Again”把复古和未来主义交融在一起，像一场时间空间不明的神秘派对。

S.T.D. + Modular Records Presents | Canyons and Modular DJs
Modular Recordings was established a few hours before the first release was due to go to press in the fortuitous summer of 1998. In the years since the label has the rollercoaster of record label success imaginable with acts like The Avalanches, Wolfmother, Cut Copy, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tame Impala, The Presets, Ladyhawke and Chromeo, just to cherry pick a few.
After years and years of raving all around the world and just one week after the inaugural FOR Festival on Croatian Island Hvar, Modular have teamed up with Shanghai cats S.T.D to throw their first of hopefully many Chinese parties at hot spot Arkham on Saturday, June 29th.
Featuring at this event will be the incredible Canyons, whose unclassifiable grooves have scored them fans the world over. Supporting on the evening will be Modular DJ's featuring Glen Goetze, Modular's current head of A&R and R3 with the STDJs.
