CIRCLE AROUND THE WORLD是我们[CIRCLE全明星俱乐部]每月定期一次的主题活动。为促进文化交流,届时我们将每月向大家推荐一个国家，并介绍这个国家的音乐、美食、文化等相关资讯。根据不同国家的不同特点相应举办有特色的主题派对。让大家共同了解世界上更多不同国家的风土人情。

Circle around the world is an event that CIRCLE China will be holding every month and each month they will introduce a different country. The introduction will include their music, food, and culture. Each party will be specialized to reflect the characteristics of the chosen nation. The parties are aimed at giving partygoers the chance to experience different countries around the world!

第二站：热情如火的巴西！
Second Stop: Brazil

巴西是南美洲最大的国家，人口数居世界第五。以足球，巴西烤肉，和热情的桑巴舞而闻名世界。
Brazil is South America's largest country and ranks fifth in world population. Brazil's known worldwide for its barbecue, football, and samba.
足球Football

As we all know, the most popular spot in Brazil is football. According to a 1999 census, Brazil has more than 20,000 football teams. In addition, the Brazilian national football team is the only one to have participated in every FIFA World Cup from 1930 to 2014. Furthermore they are one of only five teams to have ever won the World Cup, taking the trophy in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and in 2002. Brazilian players hold many of the World Cup records and it is fair to call Brazil the "football kingdom".

众所周知，巴西最流行的体育运动是足球，据1999年的统计数字，巴西大概有近2万多支足球队。另外，巴西国家足球队是唯一一支由1930年至2014年的世界杯足球赛从未缺席过一届的球队，也是唯一一支曾五次夺取世界杯冠军的球队（1958年、1962年、1970年、1994年和2002年）。此外，巴西队和巴西球员也包揽了很多世界杯足球赛纪录。2007年美洲国家杯在不被看好的情况下以3:0击败强敌阿根廷获得冠军[18]，可说是完完全全的“足球王国”。

巴西烤肉Brazilian Barbecue
Brazilian barbecue is their national signature dish and is available in every corner of Brazil. Noto is a humble dish and while the Brazilian diet is usually heavier in vegetables than meat, it is a staple of their diet. While beef is usually consumed by the wealthy, pork is enjoyed by most of the population. Brazilian barbecue mostly includes roast-beef and ham, which are strung over a special apparatus and slathered in delicious sauce before being grilled over the fire. The delicious golden meat and tangy aroma have made Brazilian barbecue famous worldwide.

巴西烤肉是巴西的国家招牌菜，在巴西的每个角落，烤肉都是能登大雅之堂的风味菜之一。这主要得益于巴西发达的畜牧业，肉多菜少，也是巴西饮食的一大特色。巴西人民惯常喜爱猪牛肉。一般富有的人家更多喜爱牛肉，反之，则以猪肉为主。烤肉是巴西著名的风味菜，每逢家宴、野餐都是必备的食物。巴西烤肉主要以烤牛肉、火腿肠等为主。刷过酱汁的原材料被串在一个特制的器具上，放到火上翻烤，期间随着火势翻转，并刷上油，直至金黄，扑鼻的香气将会使你胃口大开。

桑巴舞Samba
Samba originated from Africa indigenous dances that were religious in nature. These dances were brought to Brazil by African slaves and there they began to spread and mix with the local dances as it gradually evolved into to the modern samba. Samba is not recognized as a symbol of Brazil, which can be seen prominently at the Brazilian Carnival as one of their most popular forms of cultural expression. The Bahia samba circle (a kind of Rio de Janeiro samba) was listed by UNESCO as a representative of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of mankind in 2005.

它最早根源于非洲土著带有宗教仪式性的舞蹈，通过被贩卖到巴西的黑人奴隶带到巴西，再与流传至当地的其他文化混合，渐渐演变成今日的桑巴。桑巴现已被公认为巴西和巴西狂欢节的象征，是最大众化的巴西文化表达形式之一。其中，巴伊亚的圆圈桑巴舞（一种里约热内卢的桑巴）在2005年被联合国教科文组织列入人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录。

DJ Make
Make is a global EDM project composed of two Brazilians, Joe Hander and Leirian. They are the complete package as music producers, live vocalists, and even dancers. Formed in 2010, they had their first release on a Brazilian label in 2011. The duo has been bringing their striking energy and charisma to clubs ever since.

MK has been growing in popularity around the world, especially in Asia wher they have toured, including two trips to china in 2011 and 2013. Their official remix of “Secret” featuring MJRed, the Korean singer who won the K-pop Asia award in 2013, was released by Lohit Records (IN) and Moon Records (SK).

In 2013 MK had two major releases, “Medallion” on Columbia Records and “Fire Rain” on Island Def Jam. Both are major big name labels in the US and a testament to MK’s popularity.

MK has gathered attention playing guest mixes on radio stations around the world including Powermix FM (UK) , Midnight Sessions/Trance Radio in Berlin, and for the American internet radio station DIESEL.FM wher MK spun his guest mix alongside big names such as Ferry Corsten and Tom Hades.

MK did a yearlong residence for HKGFM Radio in Hong Kong doing three shows a week that broadcast to Shanghai, Singapore, and Perth (AU).

2014 has already been a big year for Make as they are starting as residents on “The Movement” Radio (IN) with “MK ON AIR”, a weekly show that airs every Tuesday brining the best of Electro and Progressive House.
